Our Mission

Uvalde Memorial Hospice

Gifts to UMH Hospice bring comfort, self-respect, and tranquility to people nearing the end of life.

Since November 1997, UMH Hospice has provided quality care for patients and comfort to families and caregivers in the five counties that we serve. Our dedicated nurses, staff and volunteers understand the level of care and support needed surrounding end-of-life and end-of-life care.

UMH Hospice is a not-for-profit service and your gift to the Annual Fund will help us continue to provide end-of-life care for everyone who needs it, regardless of ability to pay. Donations are 100% tax-deductible and ensure that our future needs will be met.

Hospice is a type and philosophy of care provided by a team of health care professionals who maximize comfort for a person with a life limiting illness by reducing pain and addressing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Hospice aims to bring comfort, self-respect, and tranquility to people nearing the end of life.
