11th Anniversary Wellness Run Held

Uvalde Memorial Hospital had their 11^th Annual Wellness Run/Walk this past Wednesday, May 12^th celebrating National Hospital Week. There were over 80 adult and 20 kid participants. Results are below-

Women’s 10K:

1st place – Ann Martinez, 2nd place – Lauren Tully, 3^rd place – Courtney Rimel

Men’s 10K:

1st place – Raul Valdez, 2nd place – Steve Allen, 3^rd place – Jesse Quiroga

Women’s 5K:

18 and under: Alicia Teague

19-29: 1st place – Sarah Luna Jimenez, 2nd place – Brandy Santleben, 3rd place – Nicole Cloudy

30-39: 1st place -Lynné Dodd, 2nd place – Hanna Case, 3rd place – Brianna Taylor

40-49: 1st place – Eliana Teague, 2nd place – Tracey Roman, 3rd place – Lyndie Turner

50 and Up: 1st place – Deb Navarro, 2nd place – Delma Cortez, 3rd place – Sanjuana Bermudez

Men’s 5K:

18 and Under: 1st place – Theo Paz (4 years old! Our youngest 5k runner to date)

19-29: 1st place – Rodney Bravo (1^st Overall), 2nd place – Abraham Diongzon, 3^rd place – Marco Hinojosa

30-39: 1st place – Tony Gonzales, 2nd place – Roman Partida

40-49: 1st place – David Cortez, 2nd place – Jon Anfinsen, 3rd place – Renato Jun Paz

50-69: 1st place – Thomas Nordwick, 2nd place – Hector Luevano, 3rd place – Lyndon Diongzon
