1st Annual SANE Golf Tournament

About the Program

The SANE Program benefits survivors of sexual assault or abuse.  This is the first time the Uvalde area has had a SANE Program.  This non-profit program relies primarily on funding through voluntary donations.  In addition to helping preserve the survivor's dignity and reduce psychological trauma through prompt, compassionate care, the SANE Program enhances the medical forensic evidence collection for more effective investigations and better prosecutions against offenders.

Tournament Information

Date: October 24, 2009

Location: The Club at Concan  Concan, Texas

Tee Time:  Shot-gun start kick off at 1 p.m.  Check-In will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Early Birds have full access to driving range and putting green.

Entry Fee:  $100 per player (4-Man Team)

Includes:

• Entry fee to tournament and club house
• Cart, green fee, practice balls
• Entry into door prize drawings
• A "goody" bag
• Entry to longest drive and closest to pin challenges
• Food and beverages along the course
• Entry to the Awards Ceremony and dinner at the club house

*Non-player entry to the Awards Ceremony dinner will cost $15 per person

Register by early registration deadline and receive two $60 rounds of golf for $30 each, to be used anytime at the Club at Concan.

Volunteers

Volunteers are welcomed to assist with different event duties.  If you have a volunteer hour requirement for any organization, we would gladly give you credit for your hours of service to our SANE Program Golf Tournament event.  Volunteer sign-up is ongoing.  Please contact Suzanne Rue, 830-278-6251, ext. 1225.
