Sleep Center
The Sleep Center at Uvalde Memorial Hospital conducts studies on patients to diagnose sleep disorders. These studies can identify if a patient is suffering from sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and bruxism.
Sleep studies are typically conducted over a two night stay in which you will sleep in a private room and our trained professionals will monitor your breathing, heart rate and brain-wave activity. At the end of the study, a report will be provided to your physician.
