The Women and Newborn's Center offers digital photo services for your baby's first photo in the hospital. Because the photos are taken by our experienced staff and printed in-house, Uvalde Memorial Hospital can offer faster receipt of your baby's first photo at affordable prices. Our staff uses digital photo technology which allows retakes during picture taking at no additional cost.
All photo sheets are only $5.00 per page and are available as follows:
- (1) 8X10 per sheet
- (2) 5X7 per sheet
- (6) Large wallets per sheet
- (2) 3X5 per sheet
Novelty 8X10 photo sheets are also available for $5.00 in the following styles:
- Novelty Crib with baby photo
- Novelty Stork with baby photo
- Novelty Bassinet with baby photo
- Novelty Occasion with photo
- Novelty Occasion with photo (black & white)
- Novelty Occasion with photo (antique)
- Holiday or Theme Monthly print is featured on display at OB department entrance
Infant photos will be taken only at the request and permission of the parents. Appropriate consents will be signed allowing or declining permission to Uvalde Memorial Hospital for use of photos in public display in the hospital or web nursery. Parents may provide only information they wish to be printed on photos.
Infant can be photographed in their going home outfit or hospital clothes as the parent wishes. Photograph background can be a special blanket with theme or character of the parent's choice. We have a couple of blanket backgrounds to choose from if you didn't bring one. Parents will be contacted by phone when photos are ready for pickup. Order total plus tax can be paid at the Registration Department and then turn in your paid receipt to OB staff when picking up your photos. Re-orders are available even after you have taken your baby home.
