Uvalde Area Art Call
CALLING ALL AREA ARTISTS!
Uvalde Memorial is inviting local artists to contribute artwork for our new Medical Office Building! Studies have shown that patients respond well to spaces filled with art and ease anxiety for patients, families, visitors, and staff. Art frequently focuses the patient on positive, hopeful thoughts. For patient care teams, art can be a morale booster and can help them find the patience, focus, and energy to deal with stressful situations.
The Uvalde Memorial MOB ART CALL is open for all ages, and the topics are as follows:
- Local Heritage and Pride
- Everyday Super Heroes
- Nature
- Contemporary
